About the Australian Canoeing Sprint National Championships
The National Sprint Championships is the third event in the AC Sprint Series 10/11, the first event was held
in Adelaide in December 2010 and GP2 was held at SIRC on the 28-30th January 2011.
This is the first selection event for all sprint national teams and promises to be an exciting competition.
Australian Canoeing would like to acknowledge the support of its major funding partner, the Australian

Venue Information
West Lakes – Adelaide SA
The course is located in West Lakes, approximately 9km from the Adelaide CBD. The 4.8km lake adequately
allows for training during the regatta, as well as warm up and cool down requirements.
The A.M. Ramsay course is ideally located close to all levels of accommodation, shops, public transport,
tourism facilities and other sporting complexes.
The course is fully buoyed and is positioned in a north south direction. West Lakes is home to the SASI
canoe sprint program and has undergone extensive improvements with new start and finish pontoons and
an upgraded finish tower.
